August: Writing with time

In this workshop, we’ll explore how we write about the complexities of time, our pasts, presents and futures. We’ll draw on Karen Davies’ essay on ‘The feminist contribution to an understanding of time’ and creative works that experiment with ideas of time. Through short, generative writing exercises we’ll play with time in our own writing.The workshop will offer a nurturing, non-judgemental space in which to take chances and find ways to inspire and enliven your writing practice.Suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced writers.
