The Other Art Room run by our own Resident Artist Sally, qualified teacher and practicing artist, will be in residence in the front gallery for the summer. Offering drawing and painting workshops for teens and adults from Thursday to Sunday, every week, beginning on 11th June.

"The Other Art Room was born out of the belief that everyone can be creative and that art is for all. Often barriers of judgement are placed in our way before we have a chance to develop and practice our skills and Sally is dedicated to sharing her skills and knowledge across all age and ability groups, to develop confidence in drawing, painting and making. With a freedom away from prescribed curriculums and rules, she encourages everyone to connect with art, take risks, have fun and be part of an artistic community."

The Other Art Room offers a unique set of workshops, across sketchbook practice, drawing, acrylic and oil painting, and en plein air wild drawing. All workshops are taught in person, and students are offered bespoke tutoring from their individual starting points within group settings, in a supportive and encouraging environment. Read more & Book
